Version 1.1 is approved
The new update of Stencils has been approved by Apple and is immediately available from the App Store.
We've implemented lots of customer feedback, fixed the issues that were found after the first release and made many usability improvements. However the biggest change is the model under which we'll distribute the app in the future. Here are the highlights:
- We've discontinued the Free edition, which had saving and online sharing disabled.
- Stencils will come in 2 paid editions, Basic and Professional.
- Buying from the App Store will install the Basic version. It will save to the device, but you can only work on a single app project.
Publishing of an app sketch to our servers and sharing it through email, Facebook and Twitter is also available for a small, one time fee. - Stencils can be upgraded to Professional through an In-App purchase. It can then manage an unlimited number of projects and all publishing and sharing is completely free.
- Thank you to more than 1200 customers who downloaded the first version of our app and helped us with feedback and suggestions.
If you were running the Free version you'll get Basic for free when you update.
If you purchased the Full edition you'll be updated to Professional (if you did a clean install just tap Upgrade/Restore and complete the purchase, you won't be charged in the end).
